About Angel: Angel Bellydance began her training in elementary school & was raised as a competition Ballet, Lyrical, Jazz and Hip Hop dancer. She began her pro dance, modeling and acting career at the age of seventeen working for Puerto Rican tourism & excursion shows throughout the island. Angel’s career lead to her dancing & modeling in Latin music videos with vocal artists including: Don Omar, Calle 13, Hector the Father, Zion y Lennox, & more.
During Angel’s earlier years of teaching ballet and other commercial styles, she fell in love with belly dance while studying at The Bronx Dance Theater (NY) & Dance and Arts Masters Inc (PR) along with any workshop, master class or convention she could attend.
Angel comes with three decades of teaching experience including throughout New York City, Puerto Rico, Northern VA and now Central Florida. Her more recent teaching experiences include master classes & workshops at several world renowned festivals & conventions including: the Orlando Bellydance Convention, FEIDAC of Argentina, Art of the Belly of Ocean City, Maryland, Belly Dance Vegas, Migrations of Austin, TX & DCBA Maryland.
Currently, Angel performs belly dance regularly in the central Florida area for restaurants, Orlando weddings, & various other public events and venues, as well as festivals and conventions across the United States & beyond. She also teaches in-person classes in Orlando, FL and online classes where she enjoys training dancers from: Australia, Thailand, England, Malaysia, Canada, Costa Rica, The Netherlands and the United States!
